Clearly Teti is inspired by this show because the review is — as always — brilliant.  This is what brings me back to AV Club.

I agree that the ridiculousness of the show's premise can be hard to swallow.  But the absurdity doesn't stop there.  I emit at least three "oh come on" cries during each episode.  But for some reason, I can't not look at it.  It's like a horrible traffic accident where no one was hurt.

It only takes up to three weeks to get your scores back by email so clearly they've dropped the ball on that storyline.

Here's one more voice for weekly coverage.  There seems to be a small but devotedly frustrated following for this show and I, for one, would love to enjoy further spot on analysis, humor laced recapping and thoughtful commuinity dialogue.  Considering the numbers would be tiny, it would have to be a labor of love.

Stop trying to make Taylor Hicks happen. He's not going to happen.

Although there were a few easy outs in the episode, I like how "eve" ultimately represented an obstable for Annie rather than a saviour.  It wasn't that she had to die for the salvation of humanity, it was that the old ones had to be blown up.  Annie had to do it as her "unfinished business" to pass on and the ones

Whether you sing rock, country, grunge or not very well, a white guy that gets the girls or middle-aged ladies (or both) voting will make it to the final two.  That has been the case every year except season 3.  So two questions remain to be answered.  1)  Will it be Colton or Phillip in the final and 2) who will join

You are not alone.  I agree even to the shocking point that Nene actually worked here!  The episode was generally nicely handled.  I think a lot of people are mostly sick of Glee or desperately trying to hold on to the fun of season 1.  The good old days are gone.

"In the new century, it takes a lot of effort… to sell a million units."  While true, unless things have changed, sales aren't the criteria for a platinum album.  Certification is dependent on shipments of units.  Just because an album "went platinum" doesn't necessarily mean than a million copies were sold.  Some of

How so?

Despite wanting to fast forward through an overly bloated finale, I'm pleased (and relieved) that the right group won.  If the show dies — and there is every indication it will — this was a fitting swan song full of all the goodness and problems the show had throughout the run.

Oddly, this series is getting worse and Grimm is getting better.  If this truly is the baseline or the best of this series then I could be done.

I agree that this show and the accompanying review are not meant to be a high level political or ethical discourse on right and wrong but the phase "The actions of a few monstrous Germans" did jump out to me as a particularly careless diminutive of historical events.

Ken Todd and Giggy?  Lovableness is clearly also deeply personal I guess.  The dog seems like yet another bratty BH power accessory and seeing a condescending, doddering old man drink out of the same glass at the dinner table as his pet is nothing I'd want to witness in person.  Yuck. Yet another example of how the

There was so much good about this episode.  Too bad very little of it was on the runway.  Fortunately, Teti has risen to the challenge with a spectacular recap.
