Hm. No idea what was going on with yours. My B6 A4 positively sings at 5,000rpm and has honestly been pretty good to me, aside from some oil leaks.

Also endlessly resisting the temptation for a B6 S4. If I were to buy one, it’d need to be clean and low-mileage. But damn - as fast as a Murcielago around the Top Gear track, for chrissakes!
