I agree, this doesn't seem to be Hannibal at all, for some reason.

I understand your arguments and certainly agree. But that's the thing, that "teenage girls" are the kind of person everyone just assumes falls for this crap. Yes, there are a lot of girls that root for Klaus, but I'm certain there are equally lots of teenage boys who do too (I know some). The thing is, I'm not telling…
Agreed.
Yes, I'm not saying Marcel has not been really successful because he has. The brothers are obviously jealous. But being in charge and giving vampires authority with whichever means necessary has been the basis of their "rule". In that sense it's the same. And based on all that's been said, I understand where they're…
"All the teenage girls love him and root for him." That.
YES to this.
At that moment all I could think of was "beware the quiet ones" for some reason. I agree though, he certainly looked tired. What's interesting about his comment to Elijah to me is that he almost said it like he was commenting on the weather. Yeah, he made the usual Klaus-smile but it was almost a reflex, as were the…
Me too!
I recent your generalization.
You won't get Klaus saying things OOC. Of course he's going to blame his sister; just like you said, it's the typical behaviour. But this show is making a good treatment of it at least in my eyes, because like in this episode while he was accusing Rebekah both his siblings were making it clear it was his own fault.…
I completely agree. No one can change who they are from one day to the next, and this episode was an incredible improvement (considering TVD also, Klaus has been the same idiot nearly four season now).
I felt the same and until we get a decent villain, I'll still say killing Celeste so early was a mistake (them using it last night didn't help).
He still treated him poorly for being weak, and there was plenty evidence of that in TVD's flashbacks. Being a bastard only made it worse.
I don't remember how long exactly but I think Klaus and Marcel have owned the town for an equal amount of time. And they feel like what Marcel built was in reality just a continuation of the previous regime, and with their own teachings, so they feel it's theirs by extension I guess. It's not fair on Marcel, but I…
When compared to the resonance of the Mikaelsons she is kind of background noise..
I agree. I feel Klaus feels more at ease now having told Elijah he's not the perfect one; like he's not living in the shadow of his morally perfect brother and they're more equal.
She was daggered at least once before when Marcel was turned, but I think it was implied it happened other times too.
I was convinced after last episode that some big self-awareness was coming for Klaus, I'm glad I was right. Awareness seems to have hit Elijah too, though (which I did not see coming), in that even Klaus has called him out on his shit now.
I saw it more like she wanted to impart some of the things she'd understood to Hayley.
Now that she's had her freedom I somehow expect her to come back, whenever that is, a stronger person. More confident, perhaps.
