I know that Kotaku is a gaming culture site, but as someone that has played video games and sports my whole life I just can’t get on board with the whole notion that playing video games is a fucking sport. You’re playing a game. You may take the “training” really seriously, but you’re still playing a game.

Rumor has it the cheerleaders were also part of a pyramid scheme.

Ha ha, ain’t nobody gonna be celebrating in Puerto Rico when Trump builds that wall to keep them out of the USA!

Comparing one bad design to another bad design is always a good comparison. /s

Personal experience of what? Friction?

Everything is political, politics being the name we give to the process of figuring out how we’re going to live together as a society. “Will we allow discrimination against certain types of people and if so, which ones” is a very basic political question, and unlike some other things that people have started to think

Yeah... all of that, or maybe there’s just no fucking Sky Master pulling the strings and you have to face the terror of nobody but you being in control of your fate.

Tend to agree with this. It is OK to have some limited debt - nothing of value is free. And yes, sending very young people off to kinder-college for many majors that have no economic future is just plain cruelty. If mom and dad are foolish enough to pay for a “sort of” degree at a resort school, then that’s their

Dad is on live TV, doing his job, where his credibility, knowledge and professionalism is being showcased - you know something that some people might consider to be important and a big deal, and having the kids barge in there making a racket might kinda make him look unprofessional and a panicked spouse

My favorite part is desperate Barca detractors pointing to the Suarez penalty as THE REASON Barca won.

Ahhh, that was it! I kept having that issue at the aquarium I work at today. And then I went home and tried to play 1-2 Switch with my goldfish, same thing! Went to my bedroom, though...and it also happened, because that’s where my wi-fi was.

I tell ya, when I’m looking for some sports to watch on TV, A&E is right there in the top 100 channels I’ll turn to. Right behind QVC and just ahead of NatGeoWild.

If your scale works, you will. You’re implying that if I add the mass of the water to the mass of my body, somehow the total will be less than the sum of its parts. That is extremely wrong, and as I said before, I’ve actually done exactly this before.

I agree that Clinton was historically way too far right (and she at least apologized and called those views as mistakes that she regretted) however, Sanders, Warren and Stein said all the right things but any intelligent American who read their websites up and down would realize, all three had no plan at all. They

Bernie was (and is) a serious idealist and an amateur lawmaker. He wouldn’t be significantly different than any activist celebrity. Susan Sarandon could do his job as well as he could. She basically did.
