An interesting read however i'd like to point out that when you are reading a book, a comic or watching a movie you are a passive audience.

@Fallible: To me it looks a lot like either the various incarnations of Risk on the pc or else like Axis and Allies.

@Jaclo:I don't see this as close-minded. If I buy a movie I know roughly what sort of experience I am in for. If I buy a video game it's the same.

@khainegow: So you use it for some games and you use steam for others. Honestly it isn't any different than if Relic had gone gamespy or gotten their own servers up and running.

I don't think it's appropriate to post personal information about someone like that. There's really no love lost between the man and this community and this doesn't seem prudent.

It isn't three versions. It's one game and two expansions.
