Damn sharks and their perpetual love of sushi.
I have heard that sharks don’t really care for human and mostly go in for an exploratory bite before deciding they don’t want any of what were serving.
I’ve had jellyfish stings before. They are an inconvenience, but I feel like most of the stories I’ve heard of stings are over exaggerated.
Do you happen to recall the advertising for John Carter? That’s why they don’t give control of advertising to the creators.
I think her demise was overdone as well, still, raptors have been lionized as the sort of “worst way to die” in the movies. I think D’Onofrio’s death was meant to be more symbolically horrible even if it wasn’t the dragged out torture that was the assistant’s death.
It hits all of the story notes from the first movie while either subverting them or reinforcing them in some way. It’s competently plotted even if it takes a turn for the absurd. I can forgive some ridiculous CG if the story holds up or what I’m seeing is entertaining.
The scene of them looking out on the dead sauropods, ugh, just took me right out of the movie.
That was a lot of fun and also one of the most ruthless things I’ve seen on television in a while. I’m even more surprised that it happened on the CW.
You have clearly only ever seen one other thing on television. You are aware there are other channels, and shows in just about every time slot, yes?
“She should have just said that a cure was being developed and she couldn’t stand by and let him die when there was a chance she could save him”
That assumes 1 to 1 uptime, which isn’t always the case in crucible. Getting the jump on someone, firing from the hip so you strafe faster, and using cover are all skills that not everyone has in equal measure.
It may not be the greatest weapon you’ll come across, but that seldom matters in crucible with a bunch of randoms. The majority of people you come across don’t ever fire from the hip amongst other things, so just a little knowledge about how to move will take you far with even the shittiest weapon.
Thorn was one of my very first exotics. Seen those darts a thousand times. I still, on occasion, shoot one in to a wall to look at.
To be fair to your ignorance, it has piercing so it tends to shoot through most enemies. So even if you did run up and inspect whatever it is you just killed, the dart was likely across the room stuck in a wall somewhere.
I keep seeing this about Epilogue. I had the opposite experience. Its high rate of fire combined with how visible its bullet trail is makes lining up head shots almost like aiming a laser pointer, even when firing from the hip.
Great video, but man, dat cliche music...
My friends and I refer to him as “Creepy Luigi”.
Had almost the exact same experience/reaction. Great promo art, shame it’s wasted on a mobile game.
I like a slow movie, but Ex Machina was needlessly slow. Too many lingering shots with little to no visual or emotional impact. It was pretty late and I was tired when I saw it, but it wasn’t that which had me nodding off at points.
