There are many better ways of pulling off a fart joke than any sitcom weight gain plot I've seen. The persistence of the latter makes me wonder if there's a make-up/costume person specializing in fat suits/make-up who has a thing for writers and gives spectacular head or something.

It doesn't matter whether it's a man or a woman using lotion in bed, the sheets are just as likely to get stained.

That kind of reminds me of an article I read by the writer of The Economics of Scarcity, and how people tend to make worse economic decisions the worse off they are. And I imagine homeless people have reason to be suspicious when offered two options where the other means following a person somewhere with the promise

That vampire movie lead to a headline being published somewhere that was rather insensitive after her passing.

Amy Schumer. While I appreciate the guts it takes to do what she does, it feels like the material she applies it to falls short both in terms of comedy and social commentary and and watching her show I keep coming back to the word "didactic". People with good taste in comedy like her, but I have a hard time accepting

SENSIBLE FLATS CAN'T CRUSH THE PATRIARCHY!

Well, at least it's a step up from her views on 9/11.

Well duh, obviously experiencing things first-hand, regardless of how limited your access is, is the most authentic and exciting way of writing about the world, bro. What would Hemingway had done? Not write for Cosmopolitan, that's for sure: http://www.cosmopolitan.com…

I imagine it's done more so they'll have something that was featured in the news to add to their activism CV/ list of things that make them a better person than you, me, or anyone who hasn't gathered signatures from thousands of like-minded morons who think the problem with what they see as mistreatment of animals for

For more on Bruno Bettelheim, mothers, and fairy tales, look up his theory on the cause of autism.

I was kinda skimming through the article and just thought of what could be done with the theme before I considering the reality of the circumstances.

I think a witchcraft-themed coat should be made of something other than polyester, but it's nice that a SanguineDreamer is our there for those who feel otherwise. After all, are not people with bad taste just as deserving of love as the rest of us?

The maid one is nice, but the rest I imagined as much cooler before clicking to see the actual clothes on the website.

That's fine. I just find it really funny that a common reaction in these comments to any criticism of the show (even for not going far enough) is a knee-jerk condemnation of it as the whining of a PC-weenie, which to me is no different from someone bringing up Caitlyn Jenner's vehicular homicide charges and being

No, if you have anything other than praise for this episode, you are a PC moron incapable of independent thought and a your existance is a threat to free speech.

From what I've heard yes, but I can't see why those non-regulars would in general somehow find typing last names more challenging.

I think the point is more that a pattern emerges that suggests that at least some of the people claiming they're just trying to avoid typing a difficult name are full of shit when a guy like this appears to be be deserving if the extra effort.

I try to refer to people I don't personally know by their last name because while there can be a bunch of other reasons to use first names, it's not really a matter of debate that it is sometimes used to show they don't take the person that seriously. And sometimes it's done unintentionally, like in the footage I saw

Ha! (See my reply to ElDan).
