Like drones, “hoverboards” should be registered ($25 minimum) just in case they catch on fire and cause damage to the surrounding buildings and wildlife. That way if people are riding it, catches on fire, then they run for it, they can at least know who it is and charge them a fine or arrest them for the damage.
