The previous DLC’s were split between gunplay/silly modes and terrifying modes. I enjoyed them quite a bit actually. The Bedroom DLC is a heart-pounding callback to early King’s Quest III, and worrying whether Marguerite was gonna get all pissed up in my face in VR gave me the sweats. I still haven’t played the other

Scream all the time goes away?

Congrats on welcoming Player #3 into the family!

Congrats man!

My deepest congratulations for you and your family!

Congrats on the kid! I did bring my Switch to the delivery room, which meant a bit of Puyo Puyo Tetris while she was still in the “maybe you’ll have a contraction in a half hour or so” phase, and some Breath of the Wild when I just couldn’t sleep. The best thing about the system and a kid, though, is walks. My son

Congratulations on the baby! It’s unlike anything else in the world and I wish your family nothing but the best.

Congratulations on the birth of your son! As others have said, get ready for the most rewarding and challenging game of all... Firguring out your hospital bills I mean Fatherhood!

Congrats!! Those little bundles of joy are the best NPCs life has to offer.

I agree about RE7, but the first two-thirds of the game were so heart-pounding in VR that it was kinda nice to feel in control finally. Although now that it’s been done awhile, I kinda want more of the heart-pounding, and was disappointed that

2nd should be ok. He’ll just have to get used to birthdays where people are a bit tired after Xmas and New Year and not that enthusiastic about going out.

What Have You Finished This Week?

Congratulations! Welcome to the joys of fatherhood, and also having to arrange child future birthday things just after Christmas!

Congrats on the child! It seems like everyone got a Switch for Christmas. Glad I won’t left out of the Switch games on AV Club (it will take somebody catching up though).

As much as I get how ugly the N64/PSX graphics are, it’s really nice to see a game actually try to explore it. With all the (S)NES nostalgia, I’d actually enjoy a return to exploration with early 3D game design. Plus, the main theme is pretty rockin’.

Salutations~!

In that case, let me give you the mildest of spoilers, and it might help you decide. It’s like you play the game, then you play the game on new game+ mode (with a slew of new mechanics and alternate missions), then you play the sequel to the game, and then there’s one last bit of content before it ends. NieR:Automata i

You play the game to the end of the A story, the get to play it from the B story which the first half is similar but from your partners POV. It then gives you a trailer for the C story which picks up at the end of A/B and you alternate between characters.

Yeah, I think the prospect of five main endings has some people spooked because they think it means you have to play the game five times. It’s actually more like [MILD SPOILERS INCOMING] you play NieR:Automata twice, once in new game+ mode, then you play the sequel to NieR:Automata, and then you play a brief

Ah, this is more informed than my comment, likely because you’re gotten through the whole game. Haha, I thought it was a strict A>B>C>D>E sequence. Womp womp!

You play A, then the credits roll, then you play B, then the credits roll, then you watch a movie trailer, then you play what could end up being C or D, then you decide whether it’s C or D, then the credits roll, then you reload at the choice point and pick the option you didn’t pick before, then the credits roll,
