I dunno, the ES prior to the current generation was pretty boring. The only thing saving the current generation is the divisive grille and sharp angles everywhere.

Neutral: PT cruiser, solara, sebring, 318ti, cr-z, sunfire, sc430, the later GM “fake” saabs, the 8th generation mercury cougar, third generation mercury capri, the 5th generation mustangs (because there are too many of them), AND the 6th generation monte carlo.

I’m gonna make a custom car someday. I’ll take an F-body chassis (for being dirt cheap and red), and I’ll pound out completely custom sheet metal, make a whole new interior, and probably slap something super weird under the hood, like a twin turbo 3800, just to harken back to its roots. Damning as this all is, although I’m somewhat ashamed to play this part in the discussion, I must ask: did this really affect the outcome of the election though?

The Supra originated as the Celica Supra, a version of the 4 cylinder Celica which had a longer nose and an inline-6. Eventually the Supra was spun off into its own nameplate. The point being, all the first two generations of Supra were celicas with an I6, so a Supra with a 4-banger would practically be a Celica.
