That is a great point. But it can't be that, because a Barry Allen sent it.
I bet the message from the future ("Don't trust Barry Allen!") was originally meant for a completely different storyline, and perhaps for another show. Because it would be the dumbest, least helpful way to phrase the warning.

Finally, a good Marvel show on network television.
"Supergirl" had a mixed year on the CW, but it is amusing to see her replacements on CBS finish at 1.1/0.9 (compared to 1.3 for her finale last year).
It is still impressive what a CW show can deliver now in terms of special effects, the scene with the spaceships over the city looked really good.
