Maybe the twist is that they want to leave the door open for another season.
Maybe the twist is that they want to leave the door open for another season.
- Let's have a mysterious villain and keep his identity a secret for a while…
- But that is what we do every year for every show?
- Then we won't reveal his identity until the next season!
- Genius!
And then the murders began.
No way, is this the first TV show your friend has ever watched?
I think the Supreme Court died with the rest; they usually attend the State of the Union address.
At times I find this show as hilarious as any comedy… but I'm pretty sure it isn't supposed to be. The entire US government has been wiped out, the new President got shot, the VP was murdered by his wife who then killed herself* - all in 13 episodes! It beats even "24" in nonsense and tragedy; yet there is this clash…
If only Starling City had a Vigilante who could fight Bratva thugs… But maybe Vigilante is backpacking through Europe with Rory and Thea.
Kacey Rohl was great in "The Magicians"*, so I hope she will stick around and have more interesting things to do once Helix is (shockingly!) revealed to be Evil.
These reviews are posted so late now… It is Oliver's fault.
I think they're using those non-lethal bullets "Arrow" always implies, Anatoli mentions that all his guys are out of jail at the end and doesn't complain about any of them dying.
I'm not sure the writers needed to remind us that Diggle murdered his own brother…
Why not FULL circle and have Oliver sleep with all the Canaries?
"2. Why would it matter if the Bratva killed Chase rather than some one on Team Arrow? With the exception of Curtis everyone on the team's killed at some point."
To save Thea's soul, Oliver had to rescue Merlyn from the League of Assassins. And now to save Oliver's soul, Diggle had to rescue Chase from the Bratva.
And it seems they are also going for "Black Lightning", which would mean a fifth Arrowverse show for 50% of their schedule if they really add it.
As predicted, "Legion" is the first great superhero series ever. It is also the first time since "Heroes" that you can say "I hope the writer/director/actor in that superhero drama wins an Emmy!" without sounding hopelessly naive.
You are supposed to aim for peaceful co-existence, which doesn't seem to be the goal of the Men in Black guys or even Melanie. But Clark and David agree to work together at the end; David's dad would have been proud.
Without Clark, the US government would have dropped a nuke on David.
Because the "villain" could be the last hope for Homo sapiens sapiens or the entire planet, as the episode repeatedly points out.
All the eagles died due to global warming.
