"Civil War" couldn't do it in any of the categories "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" was nominated for.

Logan and Justice League too.

Not sure what gave you this impression. You should worry instead about the Marvel fanboys collapsing in tears when they see the DC logo at the beginning of a movie.

Col. Alphonse Dore Cliburn CBE, the rare "Green Lantern" and "Jonah Hex" fan.

I would be shocked if this wasn't the most critically acclaimed superhero movie of the year.

Well no studio has released three superhero movies that grossed more than $300M domestically back-to-back since Sony and Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy 10 years ago, so it would be exceptional.

"Kubo" was amazing visually, I didn't know it was eligible.

Here, you mean "critics".

"The Lego Movie" did $470M worldwide, BvS $870M: no way.
Domestically, there is a small chance.

It means it would also beat "Iron Man", "Winter Soldier", "Doctor Strange"… and the majority of MCU movies. It is possible but very unlikely.

How many has the MCU won?

I actually love Marvel, that is why it pains me to see what Disney has done to most of these characters; it is cash grab after cash grab to sell toys. Thankfully, the X-Men are in good hands.

Well it depends what you mean by "realistic"; but "Unbreakable" has an actual superhero.

Like this video suggests, I don't think that Nolan was looking for inspiration in superhero movies.

This and "Deadpool" prove that you can make actually funny superhero movies!

That's nice; now you can wait for the Spoiler Space.

If by "people" you mean the AV Club, yes; so it must be amazing.

Probably yet another winner at the box office for DC, amazing streak.

^ That is what the Academy thought of "Civil War", after Marvel's big award push.
