Season 3 was the first time I was actually following Homeland on a week-to-week basis (I binge watched seasons 1 and 2) so I couldn't make any judgements.

I do agree with your opinions. However, there were as many things in Season 3 that were just as disappointing (if not more infuriating) as Season 5.

With regards to this season being the most disappointing season of Homeland to date, Season 3 would beg to differ.

He really hasn't aged since the pilot. And Curb Your Enthusiasm is one of the few shows to have lasted since Clinton was president.
