I haven't seen the majority of produced TV episodes, but I feel confident saying season 3 episode 12 of Twin Peaks is the most frustrating episode in TV history. Every scene seems deliberately calculated as a viewer litmus test. It's kind of remarkable.

I'm not really a fan of the band (I like about half of each of their previous albums), but don't get what's so bad about this. It actually seems like they've lightened up for once.

I don't think the story is very confusing. The problem is that it's completely uninteresting, so you often have to will yourself to pay attention. Like, I guess Theron is fine, but her character has no depth whatsoever.

Agreed on Dunkirk. Had no idea what people were saying 70% of the time.

I like the Duran Duran song, but the chorus doesn't have the "Bond sound" in it enough. It's hard to define what that is. I think Cornell nailed it.

QOS's problem was trying to take its visual cues from THE BOURNE SUPREMACY rather than CASINO ROYALE. Man, I'm glad the barf-cam action era is (mostly) over.

I'm kinda surprised critics are liking this overall. I was really excited for it, and it's just bland and dopey.

As an audience member I found it impossible not to prefer Bassett, but past relationships do things to your mind, especially when a breakup felt premature.

Right, because evaluating artworks based on a perceived audience of people you dislike isn't a sign of insecurity.

I don't even like Kid A, but it's placed on this list simply because a lot of guys really do.

I don't know. It's largely responsible for the merger of social issues with celebrity gossip which has overtaken the internet and caused a lot of problems.

Yeah, and it's weird because Jezebel also comes across like an angry but very stupid person.

Strange Days is actually a great movie about civil unrest, and was from when Bigelow's movies looked slick and beautiful. It's set in the future of 1999, but still feels ahead of its time.

I feel they've both become a bit less interesting in the 21st century, but Bigelow.

You could say that about anything other people have observed that you haven't. In fact, it fuels the awful anti-science crowd.

They're averse to critical thought, speak in dogmatic buzzwords and are assholes to people who desperately want to open dialogue. Still, they're far better than the other side of the aisle.

It's awful that people would do that, but I don't think it's fair to lay the blame for real-life violent crimes on artists.

South Park is making fun of human behaviour. Humans are swayed by ideologies, so they make fun of ideologies. What responsibility do you want them to take? It's not their fault if viewers approach it in a shallow way, just like it isn't Christopher Nolan's fault that his fans think he's equal to Kubrick. We can

Or all of human history.

Ok, but that's irrelevant to the point I made. They were rising at the time Trump was elected, and they're still young as are many of their fans.
