If Faraday Future was a car company, this would mean something.

Impoverishing our allies? When did it become our duty to lather them in our finances? Much like the NATO argument, people seem to forget we foot the bill and supplement many EU countries defense budgets. While Germany spends a fraction of what we do on Defense, we get a couple of strategic bases. And those in turn

I’m Team Torch here. Definite improvement - more sinister than sad - and the right scale for a midcycle refresh.

I sharpened the headlight like it is on the ‘16.

Or it could be a jab at the longstanding joke that FCA makes poor quality vehicles.

I have to agree with him. Unlike VW I can only imagine that FCA execs have no idea whats going on in their company.

Fuck this guy for knocking the best American supercar. He’s a pretentious overpriced restorer who basically charges hundreds of thousands of dollars for a restoration and cnc’d door handles. Now he’s charging hundreds of thousands of dollars for restored and clear coated rusty rat rods. Is he supposed to be the Singer

I’ll take a Viper ACR over any Icon any day of the week. While I do lile some of the Icon vehicles I just feel like it would be better money spent doing the work myself. The Viper is just raw, sure it’s not gen 1 Viper raw, but in the crowd of cars it competes with currently it is as pure of a sports car as you can

Yeah, the welds on that piece of shielding (not like they were welds on the intake manifold or anything) looked like garbage.

I’m not being salty. I wouldn’t say no to more power. I’m saying you’re an idiot if you discount the car entirely as “not a sports car” simply because it isn’t as fast as a Mustang in a straight line. There are different kinds of sports car, and not all of them revolve around horsepower.

As a BRZ owner myself, I concur.

As a BRZ owner, I will also point out that any manufacturer that tries to make a “sporty” vehicle that has less than six-million HP might as well give up. The “Horsepower Wars” of the past few years (I’m looking at you, Hellcat) have brainwashed 90% of today’s car “enthusiasts” into

Mass market turbo? Just get an Edelbrock Supercharger and call it a day. The damn thing is Carb rated too for people living in the communist republic of California.

Just going to throw my hat in as a non-BRZ hater. Will be picking one up as a “daily driver” in a few years, so I can avoid using the real toy for mundane stuff for when a car is convenient.

Seriously. Where are the droves of journalists and internet commentariate that are up in arms about power output of the Miata? Here’s the Jalopnik timeline for the 86.

Counterpoint: not everyone wants a larger (and heavier) car just to have more power.

I a bit confused as to whats going on with Alex? Is he normally like this? He seems so standoffish, like he got forced into doing what most enthusiasts would see as an awesome opportunity.

MCM did a much nicer job with their car, it was legitimately cool while the roadkill car could only travel 12 miles before needing a new battery.

As much as we complain about restrictive factory exhausts and the like, I’m very happy for anything that ensures we have clean air to breathe.

It would be nice to see something like this with a guy that actually knows how to drive the BMW. I own a 135i and it’s maddening to watch this.
