I don’t like Mayo Pete but wtf is with that weird attack on his home done haircut? Is he supposed to go to the barbershop during stay at home orders? Ya’ll remember there’s a pandemic right now right?

The thing that deeply pissed of most of the employees, in March, 1/3 of the employees are engineers doing CAD work, none of which had to be in the office, and the owner was throwing a pissyfit. I can see th e desire to make sure your employees aren’t slacking off, but in the US its taken to absurd.

When I read that blurb, I thought: So, you’re* the one who makes my trips for groceries actual hell.

No one seemed to be like “get away from me” when I walked next to them. That’s what I’ve encountered at grocery stores.

Well, my worst-case is a civil war that turns nuclear. I’m about 80% sure things won’t go that far though...

Is your work telling you that things are tough but we’ll get through this, or are people saying to keep heads down and expect for rougher times ahead?

I think our company appreciates having people working from home. It costs us less in overhead not running our own buildings, and our billable hours cost the client a bit more not having to house our people on client site. Our company told us at the start of all this that we had a ton of cash on hand at the moment, and

i still dont understand why people think this is a light switch and bam everyone back to work living a great life. settle in, summer about to be long with lots of disappointments haha

I predict office building usage will be permanently reduced in some metropolises.

My company is struggling to wrap it’s head around the concept that you can do your entire job remotely. From the laptop and cell phone they already provided you with so they can always reach you haha.

Anyone with less than a half a million dollars in savings is literally one major illness away from bankruptcy. A 3-4 week hospital stay will easily be $250,000.

“My father was a marine who fought to protect the laws and government of this country. That is why I demand the right to break those laws and defy that government.”

That was the main thought passing through my head whilst reading this article. It always boggles my mind how a country which is in many respects a great one does not provide all of its citizens with healthcare. I think America really is great, provided you’re really rich....

And millions of people in this country think that’s fine so they keep voting Republican to keep it going.

How do you expect to make record profits with an attitude like that?!

If only these people had pulled themselves up by their bootstraps a little harder, the coronavirus wouldn’t have affected their livelihood... it’s their fault for not having a year’s worth of savings to weather any storm, that’s totally the norm in a country where most people can’t afford a $400 emergency. /s

Greatest country in the world my ass. I work in medical philanthropy, and we do raise money to fund cancer research, and helping women get mammograms, but we know what we do most of the time? We help people pay their rent because all their money to going towards cancer treatment, or we raise money for the free bed

Fingers crossed, here's hoping it runs like wildfire through the White House. Especially Trump and Pence; if it kills them both, Pelosi rises to the top!

Unfortunately, I know some people who have worked for and interacted with Alison and reported that she is... not a nice person. In fact, she was sort of egregiously careless with other people’s feelings. Not the way they put it, they used more profanity. I was super disappointed to hear this at the time, but at this
