my biggest gripe is that the world itself looks kinda uninspired. it’s hell and it’s 2015 we could do all sorts of crazy stuff with it’s design instead we get... earth rocks... why not strange stones that look like flesh and ooze red liquid or walls with these faces from the doom titlecards shifting in and out of them

How do you correlate wanting the same movement and sense of speed, so intrinsic to the original, with wanting exactly the same game? Surely there must be some core reasons to consider this game part of the same series for them to be labeling it as such?

I think The New Order is a good place to start when answering that.

Looks like someone needs some exposure to reality.

It’s shameful to see them being so cowardly as to preemptively bend over for the ‘think of the children!’ people.

typical twitch decision.

Pretty hypocritical for Twitch to claim they want to offer a safe, then ban AO games. I’m not a fan of them, and have no interest in watching streams of them, but it’s wrong to exclude a group regardless of personal preference.

That’s cause you’re a pussy who cant handle “ violence “

What i STILL dont get, is why huniepop and sakura spirit are banned... the Witcher 3 has WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY more sex and nudity than ANYTHING huniepop has, even the uncensored version of huniepop is just hentai images for the completion

Scenario:

True facts. Modding is too deeply in the same vein as doujinshi work in japan- a legal grey area for fan communities that is kindly ignored by companies. It needs to stay that way before they wreck the very existence of this type of shit and someone winds up sued.

If you want to release a full game on your own framework or a licensed engine, okay. If you’re making content for a game, that’s “fan content.” That needs to be free.

Otherwise you’re just an indie developer, and that’s different than a modder. The people that want paid for their work need to make their own games, not

Did you listen to the clip? They didn’t ask a question, they ANSWERED a question.

What’s even more disgusting is that right after Jason Schreider’s little tantrum about how everyone is picking on poor Kotaku, despite Kotaku being so great and open and well balanced, this article completely refuses to report all information and instead once again paints the picture as a one sided black and white

“Maybe the reason was GGs reputation surrounding them?”

So people made up accusations in direct contradiction to the facts - to what ACTUALLY happened - and you try to suggest those being attacked are at fault for the falsehoods aimed at them? Wow.

Now playing

They asked to speak at the panel they spoke at, and then got permission to speak from the panelist. They have it on audio. See at about 18:30 here:

Sexism in video games = Women bitching about 3d female characters

The incessant hand wringing aside, I can’t believe you actually covered this.
Impressed you respect facts at least a little.

If one were to think it’s sexist you could just not play the game. If a game offends someone it’s their decision whether or not to buy or play the game.
