Well it depends on the specifics, but it seems like a hack to me. Especially as they presumably had to use something to swap the signal that wasn't the control box the pilot was using.
You don't see being a warewolf as a problem? I respectfully disagree.
America banzai.
Hack can apply to all sorts of things though. If the aim was to make the thing drop, then flipping channels was a hack. Hack doesn't even have to apply to computer systems. Lifehacker is all about hacks, many of them not technology related.
The first of many victims in the robot/human war!
And this is why I only go to alt clubs. You don't get the meat market atmosphere there.
"Even if these guys have never catcalled or harassed women before, they undoubtedly know men who do or have seen other men do so"
Nope!
I'm thinking you must have to really have a "high score" mentality. I usually find a high score the least compelling reason to play a game, so it did nothing for me.

Hope you manage to beat it, because all manor of crazy kicks off just after that fight!
I read a ton of their blog a few days ago to try and understand it without playing but the parts I read never really went into mechanics, just the aesthetic polish. I just read wikipedia and got the 1+2 thing, but the point about them only moving once on a swipe I never appreciated till you just explained. I can see…
Song is pretty good. It reminds me of the theme for Papers Please.
I played Threes for a bit, and thought that the only difference was that the playfield started with more blocks on it. Honestly I couldn't stomach playing it for long enough to figure out the draw myself. I do want to KNOW though, if you could enlighten me?
So I played 2048 (or perhaps it was 1024) for less than 5 minutes, and decided I had better things to do with my time. Am I missing something? It's a pretty damn basic game, I wouldn't be that angry if someone cloned the idea of squashing numbers together in a grid off me. It's hardly the next Sudoku (not that that is…
Plenty of people in the West get married in churches because it's "traditional" even though they aren't religious. That is pretty much a wedding for aesthetic purposes too isn't it?
Finding a joke funny or not doesn't support or shun the console. The joke is funny or not funny on it's own merits, and the console is good or bad on it's own merits. Trying to combine those 2 things into one world view, no matter the configuration, makes you sound childish and incapable of forming your own opinions.
Love Charlie Brooker so much. Everything he has ever done is awesome. And I include his old editorials in PCZone in that.
I thought it would be the Jolly Roger Cookbook. I could believe that would be torrented for 10 years straight, and it would make thematic sense too. But nope, regular, non explosive cookbook. Huh!
I had even forgotten there was a remake at all. I have never watched Fast and Furious or any of that ilk, but if you say the remake was good then I might give it a shot. To be fair, as much as I love the gaul of the original, it does lag in places. Perhaps I will like the remake.
