Not really. I think he's at this point earned unlimited leeway with his projects. Plus he can always go back and do an Indiana Jones or Jurassic Park sequel if he feels like it.

And Spielberg
I don't see the reason to be upset about this. It's a good thing if more auteristic directors get unlimited time and resources to make their movies. This is certainly better than a new King Kong or Cars movie
Escaping Trump to go to Germany
what i dont get is that on a netflix show, most people probably just fast forward through them.it makes sense for movies, but are an annoyance here.
Especially if he's in the first movie.
Is problematic*
All good work.
Yeah, his legacy there isn't problematic but I get the sense that between the military, Congress and the media he wouldn't have had much support there. Plus, he's obviously being briefed by hawkish generals and knows any terror attack would decimate him if he eliminated any of those hideous policies.
But as I said, that was flawed. He did bail out the institutions(a Bush policy he carried on) but he didn't prosecute the bankers and I would argue the bailout wasn't large enough.
Cuba is easily the best part of obama's legacy. Every other good thing he did is flawed in some way, but this was long overdue.
How is this bold? By 2018 these movies will make as much in china as they will in America
I love the movie, but I've never heard that. I mean, the Joker really isn't in it that much (compared to Bale) and a rewrite would definitely have cut out the Harvey Dent part at the end.
The original script for TDK (from Goyer) would've split the story into 2 movies: the Jokers, followed by his trial where he radicalized Dent. Nolan wasn't sure he wanted to make two movies so he made sure there weren't any loose threads. In the end he sadly made the correct decision.
It would be 4 years of Jimmy Fallon and Jay Leno
Because Oliver has 35 shows a year, and his contract presumably allows him time to tour and do other things. Apart from the Bugle it seems.
I get the sense that, regardless of how idealistic you are before getting into office, once you have to solve these global issues everyday and have a large group of hawkish people to answer to, it's natural you will be pressed in that direction. It's easy(and correct) to attack drone warfare, but if you're Obama and…
Robert Downey Jr?
Their target market is ordinary people who swim. Lochte is useless there within a few months.
Well, given he's 32 and won't have another Olympics(and isn't as famous as Phelps) they're really not suffering much from this. Just a PR victory everyone will forget about in a week.
