Matt Walsh and Tony Hale are brilliant, but those nominations belong to Richard and Jonah.

Gravity, Avatar, Hugo. Almost nothing else.

What's hilarious is that if it weren't for the online trolls, this movie would be just another unnecessary reboot with bad trailers and would likely bomb, like Independence Day or Tarzan. Now it's this huge deal and might even make a profit. PS- How the fuck did this cost 150m?

There's little else they can use, and for the forseeable future this is the product they're selling. Between the relentless Jesus imagery and the naked Bat-butt this movie is just so strange.

This is Snyder. BvS had ridiculous amount of homoerotic stuff with Affleck. Ideally the Wonder Woman movie will be simply about her kicking ass.

So in this new WB universe the Joker is quiet and grim while Lex is jokey and constantly grinning?

Man, screwing up the Joker is next to impossible. He might be the most fun character to write for and to play, but in SynderLand he's not allowed to smile? That's like Batman shooting people!

I bet lots of that stuff is true, but there has to be some inherent bias. The west gets tons of stuff wrong about countries that freely let the media in, I can't imagine what the North is really like.

There is a ton of material for Kim to use as propaganda against the west, between the Korean War, sanctions and its actions in other countries. I'm not saying he's right(he isn't) but I kind of understand his actions, the same way I get what Darth Vader or the Joker did.

Oh, I absolutely expect a North Korean revolution, but I think when it happens the western media will be late to know, and will probably not have much knowledge of the immediate reasons.

It's not like anybody in North Korea will be allowed to watch this. The documentary will simply replenish what we already know, and will result in pain for locals.

While you are joking, I wonder how much reporting about North Korea is tainted by the complete lack of access. Not suggesting a conspiracy, just natural bias to believe crazy stories.

So they might as well be targeted and sent to labour camps?

Given that the US cannot do anything without Chinese support, and given that the Chinese regime and (if polls are to be believed) young South Koreans are terrified of Kim's demise, it will not happen. Besides, Libya, Syria and Iraq have all shown the complexity of the task, and North Korea's population is even more

It's the one where Bruce rises from the pit as Jesus or something.

Bryan Cranston shouldn't be Lex, he should be Commissioner Gordon. JK Simmons should be Lex.

The worst part of that clip above (4:04) is that Chris Nolan's name appears on screen exactly as Snyder is doing a scene done far better in Batman Begins.

It would be delightful if that theater had cameras to record reactions.

Too late?

The behind-the-scenes orgasm delaying in the British government would make a super Iannucci movie. Also, it wouldn't need to feature a Prime Minister.
