Emily is the single greatest character in this game, hands down. I loved her from the start tbh, and she only got better

TMR’s Cuphead run will probably end up being best-of-show at the end of it. Unfortunately, I skipped Celeste because I haven’t finished the game yet :(

TMR killed it last night, and he was joking around for most of the run. Also loved the standing ovation he got at the end, especially given how shitty everything was yesterday government-wise.

There are plenty of characters that aren’t like that.  I played through with the Apothecary and the Dancer, and found their voice acting to be well done, if not charming (especially Primrose).

I really enjoyed the Octopath Traveler demo and am pretty sure I’m gonna get the game, but I want to talk about this:

The speech in the Hunter’s village is SO PAINFUL!! Found myself skipping the end of cutscenes because I couldn’t take it any more. Her combat style, however, is amazing!

Tressa the Merchant because sometimes the best adventures just start with the need to get out and explore - the macguffins can come later.

Interestingly, I am at a conference these days, dealing with (among other things) this issue. The ICD 11 was published a couple of days ago and Gaming Disorder is officially classified in its pages. Right now I cannot wait for the Fallout 76 panic to be over. So many apocalypse predictors about the end of Bethesda.
