“Picked bits and pieces of the story that we liked... came up with environments”

Wait, so the guy that co-directed the part of the game which *hasn’t* been adapted for TV (the gameplay portion) wants credits in the TV adaption he had nothing to do with? Shit. Can I get credited on the TV show? I thoroughly enjoyed playing the game, I feel like that’s almost as valid a reason as this guy has.

Every adapted medium is going to have its own rules. Novels are easy — credit the author. For comics, they usually credit the original writer and artist of a book or characters. For previous movies, which is probably what they’re doing here, they usually credit the screenwriters instead of the directors. Neil

Guy directed the gameplay portion of the TLOU. How would that have anything to do with TLOU the show?

Most of us in post production aren’t properly credited. Its especially frustrating on streaming episodic because there’s literally no reason not to. Previously, it was to cut for time/film stock but that excuse isn’t as relevant anymore.

Being disliked because of your personality, views and actions isn’t cancel culture, it’s just people not liking you or your work. It’s a part of the package deal of making something to entertain people. There’s is a chance you suck so much that people don’t like your work anymore. That’s just consequences.

A statement like that makes me think he’s got a Elon blowup doll somewhere with fuckholes in them.

Most companies have exception reports that are reviewed to look for unusual things like this. Items marked down 99.9% like he was doing for example. But, when companies make cuts those kinds of jobs are also sometimes the first types to be let go. This also went on for a while, so it sounds like that kind of review

I vaguely remember a news story quite a few years ago about a local politician embezzling funds so they could feed their scratch-off lottery addiction. Honestly probably a better use of stolen money than taking stock advise from Reddit.

Fraud like this is so common in the Corporate World that companies are more concerned about employees stealing stuff than consumers.

I didn’t realize you could simultaneously successfully steal this much money and product while also creating this many giant red flashing arrows pointing at yourself. It’s impressive in its own brash and stupid way.

Guy sure is talkative for someone with absolutely no mention of a lawyer.

I think there’s a middle ground between “militantly telling other people what to do” and “total nihilism because nothing you do matters”.

To summarize the objections:

Your choice to purchase, or not to purchase, this game has absolutely no impact on Rowling. None. If you looked up “fuck you money” in the dictionary you’d probably find her face smiling back at you.

Your reasoning here is ridiculous, sorry. I just can’t read that in good faith, unless you’ve really convinced yourself it’s the case, in which case I don’t really know what else to say besides “touch grass”. Why did they choose Harry Potter? Cant be because of the generic setting, must be because of the transphobia?

The whole “if you give your money to someone you are responsible for their views” thing is just... ridiculously naive. If anyone believes that, you shouldn’t be on this website, because The Herb and crew still reap any rewards from this site’s success. It’s a sad fact of the world that 90% of all money you spend is,

anyone who pledges to support her monetarily is also a transphobe’ and comments like that, where people say ‘you’re x if you y’, immediately draw my ire. Give me a reason that’s substantiated, not a threat of your perception of me shifting.

I always interpreted Unions as an alarm bell for companies, maybe I am looking at it wrong, but to me is like someone in a relationship that says “I still want to be with you, but I don’t trust you and need someone else to watch over me”.
