January 6 in one line.

You ever get so mad on a message board you committed what amounts to treason?

Haha, I’m actually not surprised something like this happened. I’m more impressed it doesn’t happen more often(or it does and just isn’t caught). For 16 months I had really low level security clearance for a job. During a couple out-of-work conversations, some topics that I had insight on came up and I was about to

I would have said this is the dumbest “gamer shit” I’ve seen this week but over at Guild Wars2 they’re throwing a tantrum over a robot having smaller boobs.

Clearly you have never played Fallout 76

I was *absolutely* expecting to find out the lyrics were something offensive/racist etc but...they just don’t like it? That’s it? LOL.

Y’know, when I saw “divisive song” in the headline, I immediately thought that the song had something inherently offensive (as in, racist, sexist, homophobic, etc.) in it.

This is extremely misleading. The shop does not just sell cosmetics - there are also utility items. None are vital, but several give an advantage (not in combat). Fallout 1st, the subscription service offers even more powerful utility stuff.

You had me there in the first half, not gonna lie.

Overall I have been enjoying Fallout 76 lately. The online community is great. The game is fun to play, solo and with others but unfortunately the game is still full of bugs and a unbalanced gun play system.

4K is a bit of a stretch, but a little more power to actually be able to push 1080p would be nice. Even first party games are suffering from dropped frames.

Also, it’s worth noting that you’ve been able to use a USB-ethernet adapter with the Switch since it launched - it’s good that they’re baking an ethernet port into the dock but it’s not really new functionality.

This is crazy to me. Why even bother? I almost exclusively use my Switch docked, so I’d be getting... an ethernet cable and not much else. Maybe with the bigger screen I’d be more inclined to play handheld? Text size on the current version is a major issue (I’m getting old & am probably already overdue for reading

It’s still kinda like that yeah. I only been playing for a week, but I’ve made about 40 system jumps and either you need a hazmat during day or night or both, or the planet is great but the sentinels are out of their minds, or it’s barren but the weather is nice. You need to compromise, and I do find that quite

I have a very important question, though: the game might look and play better, but does it still take fucking forever to find a planet that isn’t a giant piece of shit? Do you still have to bounce around 200 different planets that suck before finding one that’s even kind of okay?

It’s always been Minecraft in space I believe. Collecting resources to build stuff so you can collect more resources is a pretty big part of the game.

While you’re right about how helpful his comment is, I’m with him on this.
That’s been my experience the last 3 times I tried to play.
That thing isn’t a game, it’s a really advanced and well done game engine. It is so extremely sandboxy that there is very little things actually exciting about it.
It needs a story, it

While your reply is generally true, the first comment is legitimately my experience whenever I try to play the game. I don’t think it’s necessarily the game’s problem: I’m also not a fan of Stardew Valley or Animal Crossing or Minecraft, because I can’t get into single-player games that lack concrete endings.

was expecting bioshock infinite to get the dishonourable mention. damn that game was tone deaf, straight out of a libertarian fever dream
