I get that immersion was the intent, especially if you're following the game closely. Which you shouldn't, because MNF games are mostly terrible. But I honestly find it much more distracting to have graphics constantly popping up and disappearing.

The scariest part to me is losing my saves, but you can back those up in the cloud, right?
I thought maybe it referred to his completion percentage.
One thing that really bugs me about ESPN's presentation is how the score box disappears during plays, and reappears when the action is stopped. It makes it really hard to follow if you're only casually paying attention to the game.
This weekend I'll be playing Upgrade My PS4's Hard Drive as I'm constantly running out of space and can't even download patches. I'm a little nervous but the internet assures me it's easy so we'll see how that goes.
Arcade mode sounds intriguing…what exactly does that entail?
I'll buy digitally since it'll probably unlock at 9pm west coast time so I'll get an extra three hours of fun.
Bitchin', thanks!
Will there be any hoopleheads in this one?
The DOOM announcement didn't really register with me, but holy hell what a fun game that turned out to be.
Yeah, I'm constantly bumping up against the storage limit, which is kind of annoying. Do you know of any good tutorials for swapping the hard drive? I'm pretty nervous about opening mine up and tinkering with the guts.
Red Dead: Rise of the Redemption
Hopefully there will at least be a non-white character or two, Mexican or Native American
James Marsden ended up with Liz Lemon in the end, so things worked out pretty well for him.
Hopefully they're going the GTA route, where the sequels are similar in style and tone but have completely different stories.
7 Red 7 Redemption
I read Mandela's, which was really powerful and inspirational. But most people's lives are much less interesting than his, so I agree with you overall.
There are a few reviews on Goodreads that are of that opinion, but I'm kind of a sucker for the sprawling, multi-voice, time-hopping narratives like this and I think he pulls it off really well. I could see someone finding it overwritten, but it moves at a pretty brisk pace so I'm not so sure about tedious.
I just finished The Nix by Nathan Hill and it definitely lived up to the hype. Before that that I finally got around to Blood Meridian which completely blew me away.
How far did you get in The Sympathizer before giving up? I just started it, but I think it's pretty good so far.
