These technologies are and/or should never be meant to take the driver out of the critical split second decision making moment. Sadly, with those stories about people thinking that cruise control will literally help them drive their cars for them... I will not be surprised if people will think something like that…

I collect rocks as a hobby. In the future, when I pass, I want to be buried with my rocks in a matrix of sand and sealed with clay. Then... don't bother me for a while.

Last I checked, there is a super plump right under Africa. I think it is what causing the East Rift Valley. So worries there... I guess? In a few (Hundred?) millions years, we'll have a African Traps, perhaps?
