@Lyner: The thing is... I don't have health insurance,not since whenever I got discontinued because of my age. I can't afford it and my mom/stepfather can't fork over the money since money is so tight... I know since I manage the bills and such. My father's side is in a worst situation. Eh.

@butterbandit: Well, my family moved here back in the 70's from China. I trust the United States' government a lot more than say China or a lot of other countries, especially south of the boarder.

Even though I rarely ever ride on full blown trains... if you discount the subways system in NYC, I was and still am supportive on the idea of a HSR. When I was little and I learned about the Japanese one, I was pretty surprised that the USA didn't have it own.
