No, I understand why they were vetting buyers. I was never for the prevention of people flipping. The vetting is what should have prevented the flippers. Like others have said, have a leasing program if you don’t want to have people sell the car in 2 years. Otherwise, you come out looking like the bad guy. This is

This. I love the GT but all of this Ferrari-esque restrictions and now lawsuits is just tainting the car and Ford’s reputation. I understand their initial reasoning and on the surface it seamed to be in the car enthusiasts’ best interest. Only sell the car to people that are going to drive it and show it off to the

According to Tesla, it isn’t. My stats are directly from them. They share similar shape and styling but it was fabricated from original designs.

Apparently this is one of the biggest myths about the Tesla roadster. It shares about 7% in parts with the Lotus Elise. The most noticeable pieces are the windshield and the dashboard, including the steering wheel. The body and pretty much all underlying parts are custom.

Scary Movie 3 is the only good one of the bunch. It went back to the 2nd era style of parody films. It isn’t just a straight up ‘reference’ movie and is filled with timeless gags, such as the shotgun shovel. The movie is filled with sight gags and joke continuity errors that you would find in the Naked Gun and Robin

That’s a lot of straw man arguments in one post.

Yeah I remember that article. Also disagreed with it. I think the biggest variable is how the person treats their car vs what material the inside is covered with. I don’t treat my car as a fast food restaurant, nor wear grungy/dirty clothes. I never had to scrub clean the alcantara parts of my last car in the 3 years

I never had it on my steering wheel, always was leather. I could see how your hand oils could ruin it quickly in that situation. That’s why I like the mix of materials. Use the best one for that particular use-case.

I grew up with a silo the street from me in Montana. It was decommissioned in the 90's from our agreement with Russia. We were the only house for 7 miles in any direction. Most of the silos were like that, just in random sparsely populated areas spread out across the State.

With a little bit of cleaner, you shouldn’t end up with a stain. The fibers are short and easy to scrub out.

I’ve never had an issue cleaning alcantara.

Crazy considering when the R8 first came out, some people managed to lease it essentially for free. Normal 3 year lease, bought the car at the end then sold it back to the dealership for MSRP as the used ones were still demanding a premium.

I actually prefer the 2012 Evora S GP Edition. They made 18 of those.

Nothing weird about a Lamborghini SUV considering they started out as a tractor company.

Enjoyed it then, enjoyed it now. Charming, fun, with a few dated references. Plus Seth Green’s imitation of Jason Stathom was dead on.

Very true. Then once a month they just ask if they can get a bit of it back.

You give up any negotiating power on the price if you take that loan.

Same here. I never had a car loan over 60 months but Ford was offering 0% for 72 months with 0 down. That’s basically free money.

The city was. The base came after. They could easily avoid nearly all noise pollution in Vegas (except right around the base) by flying about 5 miles north and not directly over the North Las Vegas communities. I’m 25 miles away and they fly directly overhead. There is no reason to.

No joke, there was one going overhead while I was typing out my original comment.
