As much as I love the Vantage, even more so than the DB9 (Vantage has better proportions), this car will not appreciate. The Vantage has done nothing but plummet in value over the last 10 years with apparently no bottom in sight. There are way too many of them, their performance is lacking and while the design is

Most definitely. Speed will be about the same but it will perform better in the twisties. Plus prepare yourself for the attention.

I actually went from a tuned TT-RS to an F-Type Coupe R. The TT was a fun car, definitely spirited and was a manual but the F-Type is so much more car, inside and out. A lot more cash obviously, especially in V8 trim.

They used the same tires for the test. Putting the Trofeo tires on the P1 brought its time down to 1.51.78.

The 2016 had a price increase across the board. They did include additional options as standard and bumped the warranty a year and included maintenance for 5 years. But all of that about equalled the 2015 price if purchased separately. So this is bringing it back down while hopefully keeping all of those extras. Kind

Disagree, I find it quite stunning especially the back end and engine cover with those dual nostrils. The only bit I don’t like as much is the side scoop shape. But everything else is spot on and the interior a gorgeous.

I flew a 1000 miles to buy my F-Type Coupe R. Saved me $5k and I got to drive it back to get to know her. Unfortunately that meant finding out what 295/30R summer tires and 550hp liked to do in a couple blizzards. Answer, 17mph.

I’ve always found the Murcielago quite ugly. The Gallardo was such a better looking car. On a side note, happened to see one driving on PCH this weekend. Pictures don’t show just how wide the Murc is.

That generation Cayman is nice but you should be able to negotiate that down to $19k, not the $24k they are asking.

Yeah I’m not sure. This was back in 1992/93. Also just before they got rid of the daytime speed limits for a few years. Not that speeding tickets were much of a deterrent in the first place, at $5 a pop.

Because a vet has doors like this

I feel very lucky with my driver’s ed. In Montana, you take it when you are 13 and it was a mandatory class during regular school hours. Also only cost $5. Teacher was cool, everyone could already drive anyway since this was ranch/farm country and these kids have been driving since they could walk. Pass the course and

FR-S, BRZ and GT86....really?

You mean in the second movie. In the first he only goes back to 1955.

So many great roads over there. My favorite to take groups up would be San Gabriel Canyon Rd. After the E-Fork bridge it is high speed bliss up to the large lookout.

There are a couple businesses out there that offer DIY garage space complete with lifts and all the tools you’ll need. One example: http://www.urdreamgarage.com/

Nope, filming season 6 now.

They started filming season 6 last month. Despite what people that have never watched it past episode 1 or 2 say, it has actually gotten quite good and is an entertaining Top Gear spinoff doing its own thing.

Gotcha, that is a reasonable question then. :)

Hell no! The dark suede interior on my F-Type improves it quite a bit. Especially the headliner and A pillars. Looks classy, feels great, and makes it more upscale IMO. Straight black leather is as boring as you can get.
