@mr_godot: THQ's booth was very stylized for each of the games it showed. Something tells me there was nothing last minute about it being bumped. BTW where is everyone getting the idea that it was being showed there? I don't remember seeing that anywhere...

This is absolutely ridiculous. In what conceivable way would it have improved the reception? Absolutely nothing. The only thing an iPad will add is more possibility for things to go wrong. And oh hey it did. He ended up rushing the most important day of that couple's life. A day they spent thousands of dollars to

@thekeith82: Really funny. Have you ever read this Cracked list of depressing happy endings? They basically said the same thing about Back to the Future. I immediately thought of it at the end of Hot Tub.

@Mokona: Which FF games got new cutscnees? AFAIK they were straight ports. Those were also PS1 games. We're talking PS2 games, which would be FFX/X-2/XII.

Now playing

@Eseph: MSI is my favorite band. They have much more music on their myspace and homepage. Enjoy!

@Tyrunn: I think its the nature of playing on stereotypes that bothers me the most. Knowing that its there just seems to be one more reason that people look down on the gaming community. Oh and from what I've read, there are girls and guys that will "play" with the same sex. Haven't heard about a trans community,

@Skipjack451: Edited: There are both guys and girls on the website. And yes it is exploitive to the people paying for it. the employees do it by choice.

@Manly McBeeferton: Steam is having a massive summer sale. You can easily squeeze 6-10 great games out of that $60

I noticed this at E3, and I haven't seen any pictures on Kotaku, but it's been bothering me a bit. While I was wondering the halls on my breaks, I noticed several "booth babes" for Game Crush. I say that in quotes because they had no actual booth to speak of, and as far as I could tell, they weren't doing anything

@Chicken Pawks: You tell me you just want to kinect with me. Aren't we already?

@darknite39: Here's where I would compare the successes of the iPhone's stability at launch compared to the Droid. Unfortunately, looking at all the problems the iPhour is having, I have no more ground to stand on. I'm still mad I can't have a Doid X though, and nothing you say will change my mind on that.

My 60gig works great apart from sounding like a jet engine. I think the trick to keeping it alive is running it 10 hours a day and carrying it in a backpack while its off. Seems to work for me anyway.

@Aaron Crabtree: But at least Apple had the decency to release their new phone a year later so most early buyers would be eligible. Since it came out so early, nobody with a Droid can get a Droid X.

@Future Retro: Remember that that marketing drone that has to write up the blurb doesn't have to know a thing about the tech. It's easy to see how some dolt could hear/read "720p" and instantly think of the screen .

@Ldubbz: Mine isn't until q4 2011. This makes me very sad

@albokay: You poor soul. Didn't the Storm 1 teach you a lesson? It sure as hell taught me one.

It makes me mad that Moto/Verizon don't follow the Apple page and give early Droid adopters an early upgrade discount. Don't get me wrong, I love my Droid, but when you come out with something that's this much better in only 9 months, you should really be doing something for your early supporters/gadget maniacs.

@ortizlgnd4: OK now I don't know if you're serious or just fucking with me.

@ortizlgnd4: Microsoft put these up all over bathroom mirrors at E3 (and apparently hotels too). I suppose its because its the only place that mirrors are common and they want to show you their new "controller". It's still kind of weird being in a bathroom.
