It shouldn’t have been a shock that so many non-college educated white people and rural people were looking for any change they could get. They’re living in bad economies and feel like nobody represents their interests.

I don’t think there’s really a way to create a separate but equal since men and women are so intertwined in life but have enough differences to never be the exact same. If we get to equality, it’ll be a different but equal situation that doesn’t favor men as the incumbent power.
