If they did then it was the wrong choice.  Stupid merchandising move and they shouldn’t complain now that they’re losing out on money.

This is Disney’s own fault.  I can’t fathom how a relentless merchandiser like Disney didn’t realize that Baby Yoda would be a huge hit and have merchandise up and ready.  This is a “take my money” moment if ever there was one and they were asleep at the wheel.  They deserve to lose out.

A lot of people are talking about lines which are memorable for their content, rather than necessarily the performance. Here’s one which I like the performance of:

I think if you read some of these stories of families which have been split up like this you’ll see how hard it is on them.   Phone calls and emails and stuff aren’t the same as having your loved ones actually there.

A lot of talk about what a bad idea this show probably is but no talk of the significance that they cast a trans actress for a role like this on a show like this.
