since when spending=investing? when you build a train you're not really just spending the money, but hiring people, thus activating the economy. then, when it's done, you have an asset. the article does mention this, but giz's lead is somewhat misleading...

@Jeff: you know how the universe is expanding constantly? it's the same with mankind's stupidity limits... i'm not even surprised when i see videos like these anymore.

I went to IMAX last nite. The movie isn't all that good, but among my friends there was a consistent preference: the music is kickass, and to most of us it was, indeed, the best thing this movie has. Daft Punk have a couple of cameos during a cool scene. People were cheering whenever they appeared. Awesome.

i was scared of death until i saw this.

@metronome49: I'm with you, but we have to realize that there are many professions that have changed dramatically over the years due to technology. Designers, for one, have it much easier now than 20 years ago thanks to computers... All those new "digital era" designers are not less of it because they don't use
