@Arken: i did talk about the os, too, and actually agreed with you. i just wanted to add one point about the apps, that imho are essential to the os experience ;)

@Arken: while i do agree that ios makes a tablet more usable than win7 (which is still skinnable and some maker might surprise us), i really disagree that apple's app store is better than having windows, in terms of applications.
