I was referring to the impending incorporation of Turkey into the EU, and the clause that allows the free movement of people within the EU which basically nullifies the borders of any of the member states.

If there were rumblings about a new state that that was going to be added that has a population of 75 million people who would then be able to freely move across the borders of the rest of the states, then yes, I would understand if a state would want to secede.

Why is the whole brexit thing being split across party lines in America with liberals going remain and republicans going leave?
