“buy a defender for $5000.”

*cries in overlander*

Well, if nobody else is going to pluck the low-hanging fruit...

BRING BACK THE MONTERO/PAJERO ON THE HEELS OF THE NEW BRONCO YOU COWARDS

How about a long box, crew cab dually 4x4 lowrider with mudder tires and an eight inch lift?

As an X-wing novels fanboy, I am extremely here for this.

Ugh, this feels like Peak Texas in the worst way. It’s as if no one believes in heeding simple health advice here.

Maybe you should just loudly announce your exit from from Jalopnik and join Parler.

As someone who lives in the self-proclaimed “Gateway to the Hill Country”, you don’t want to go in the spring. Once the wildflowers start blooming, you will have every grandma from San Antonio and Austin putting along in their Prius/Camry on all the great driving back roads. January-February is the best time to go.

I think they more than made up for it with the Telluride, which is a runaway success.

I’d prefer a sequel to Reign of Fire than this.

At least you could repurpose the windscreen as your tombstone

This is the most touching story I’ve ever (or will ever, probably) read about a Toyota Highlander.

Brad is.

First of all, how a 18 years old ends up restoring a malaise era crap mobile such a 1980's Cutlass Supreme, a car with zero known qualities and appeal.

Yea I’ve been seeing lots of both around as well.

Yeah I’m pretty sure the only place I haven’t seen a Telluride lately is at the actual Kia dealer.
