I’m in IT and my wife is a Realtor, so our businesses have thankfully not been impacted. She turned her lease in today, and we are just going to both drive my M340i, since I’m doing 95% remote work and she’s doing probably 75% remote work.

I hope you are right about them having a glut, but I was hoping they wouldn’t

Right? Let’s not forget that this isn’t an insignificant portion of the US population, either. One major effect of the BLM protests is that many of us Americans have realized that we all know way too many racists, disappointingly.

If Harley is gonna dump all its racist dealers, then it isn’t going to have a dealer network left.

A new Rogue Squadron game would have excited me many times more than anything that was on display yesterday. It’d be great if they’d announce this, say it’s a next-gen launch game, and tell me I’m special.

The Holocaust is history, yet we don’t fetishize the Nazi flag. (Yes, I went there - the Atlantic slave trade killed more people than the Holocaust did.) We can remember things with glorifying them.

you put it in a museum where it belongs. you don’t put it on live television. you don’t put it on monuments for traitors after the head traitor himself said DON’T DO THAT, and you don’t ignore what that symbol means to the oppressed.

Idon’t give one flying fuck if it represents heritage to some folks (it should bring

I’m 100% with you. The irony here is that many of these same dealers and states who are getting screwed by needing a “wet signature” and struggling to sell cars in this environment are the exact organizations/states who fought Tesla’s dealer/distribution model tooth and nail. To them I say: Adapt or die. Fighting

ONE! ONLY ONE!??! Dammit, I was going to head down to my Fiat dealer to place an order tomorrow, because that thing is a DELIGHT!

I blame the people who gather at the exits hoping to see burnouts. They should crack down on those gatherings, then a lot of the problem would disappear.

Not the first time some has regretted their FUCKS the morning after.

Somewhat germaine to the article:

I try not to be judgmental about it, as I’m part of a generation that grew up with computers, whereas there are plenty of people out there who just never got the training.

I was out buying a car yesterday morning, and the salesman I was dealing with at the dealership was an older gentleman, and let me tell you, the most painful part of the sales process was watching him operate a computer.

I agree that they look nice but unfortunately almost everyone who bought one immediately scraped it against a bollard or some other heinous cosmetic crime. I haven’t seen one looking like it’s been cared for maybe...ever.

I agree. We picked up an Outback recently and every time we go out with our 1 kid the trunk is full.

Cargo area is not what young families need

I sat in the back seat behind an adult. Neither of us were properly comfortable, but two people shorter than us would be fine.

“Some 42% of Ford Focus and Chevy Cruze compact car owners have stayed in the compact car segment with a significant percentage buying competitors’ vehicles”

I see at least one person texting and driving every time I leave. But what really gets me is the people driving brand new Benzes, Lexii etc, doing the Kardashian “yell into the bottom of the speakerphone” move behind the wheel. THERE’S NO WAY YOUR BRAND NEW CAR DOESN’T HAVE BLUETOOTH. LEARN TO USE IT YOU USELESS
