I’ve always thought the 928 was the only decent looking pop up lighted car, thanks for ruining that. On the bright side, I can now say that all pop ups are ugly without any fine print

I, for one, am glad the pop up headlight died. No car looked good with the lights up and they weren’t worth the aero penalty.

Pop up headlights are definitely one of those things that the idea is better than reality.

NSX and RX7 FD are literally two of the best looking cars ever made and the versions that eschewed the popups (NSX refresh, various RX7 kits) look like ass in comparison.
