I take this as Nissan using the noise regulation as a scapegoat for taking the GT-R off the Euro market due to slow sales. I can’t image they are selling very many copies of a 15 y.o. design there.

930 is an internal code for the first 911 Turbos. So technically, saying 930 Turbo is redundant as the 930 was the turbo 911. Just like 996 has become synonymous with the fried-egg-headlight 911's, 930 has become a common term for the first gen turbos.
