The DQ8 remake hasn’t been too horrible so far but I got into it with a good friend telling me some pointers including to grind for a boomerang before the first dungeon. I love the game but the grinding might get a little iffy. Thankfully they have that speed option.

I don’t think they need to be gotten rid of. Just a better way to mark them as such so they don’t appear in the % or can be filtered out.

It helps keep situations where a team or solo rosh fail and the enemy comes in and steals alive. If you see on the screen “__ was killed by Roshan” you may go look and see you can finish it, especially if there are multiple deaths to Rosh. Also sometimes a fight for Rosh goes outside the pit and that would be unfair…
