I like your core concept though. Maybe it’s more feasible to do 5v5 online or 6v6 or something. AI for everything not taken; but people could either get randomly assigned a position or specialize in one. That way your QB and receivers are probably covered, but no one has to be stuck as C.

Cool thought piece but I just feel like people would spam QBs, WRs, RBs, etc. Although being an OLB would be super fun sometimes. But also it would be very ripe for griefing if the QB was responsible for play calling.

I’m quite glad to see them taking a harder approach to this. Not being able to communicate with your team and only using pings isn’t really a handicap, the multi optioned ping system allows for a lot of communication. It’s not like a player who did enough to get silenced would be using chat for many tactics anyways.

Really the best thing about that WoW South Park episode was how much Blizzard helped them do the ingame stuff and then the modded stuff that doesn’t actually exist.

They’re a bit different but both amazing series in their own right. I think the most amazing thing about PW is that each game has an incredible beginning to end story but then the three main games have an incredible final finish.
