That doesn’t change where the lawsuit would be.

Unless this is a joke it goes way deeper than that. Too many features are similar which means someone working on that character saw some TED talks and may have taken too much inspiration. Also this is an Italian doctor, nothing to do with America.

I think it’s just cause of how long the last gen lasted. Got too ingrained in people’s heads.

While true, they could enact a policy that mods are “as is”. Which is partly why they have the 24 hour refund button. Saying that you get the mod as is and the modder can but may not update (which I’m hoping would mean mods go for much cheaper if they don’t plan to update) should relieve the modder of some burden

Right, which if evenly split is 37.5% each way. You have to remember Valve and Bethesda are not one entity. While I wish the modder got more, it’s not fair to lump Valve and Bethesda into one “benefits from”.

For some games, and some mods, the amount of time put into it goes far beyond “for the love of it” now. I mean some bigger mods have donations set up, but this is a guaranteed way to get a little money back on your hundreds of hours spent working on it.

If you think of it in percentages it’s not as bad as it seems. I don’t know if they list the exact split of Valve/Bethesda, but if the modder gets 25% then there’s only 75% left to split which means even evenly Valve/Bethesda would only get about 37.5% each, not much more than the modder. If you’re making money off

I mean that is quite literally a small slice for everyone involved, better than the zero it was before. If this is what it takes to allow modders to sell their content through Steam then it’s what it takes. Before they’d get nothing other than maybe donations if they had their own site set up for that. They could

I’m pretty sure it’s stated this has to be allowed by the dev and they may get a little money.

I don’t see why it’s a huge deal. The small slice going to Bethesda is for using their game, the small slice to Valve is for using their servers. The main appeal and great thing about this is the fan who spends months making a mod can get a little back for their hours and hours of work. Or if they choose to they can

I mean I’m pretty sure there will still be free mods if the maker so chooses.

People work hard on mods. So they get paid a little this way. I don’t see it being a bad thing and it’s optional, if a mod maker wants to release for free they still could. Or if they think they should get like a dollar or two for their dozens or hundreds of hours of work, why not?

Makes sense to me, which is great because I love IX. That’s a neat set, do you happen to have a link?

Looking at that tweet it really seems that this is just a spin-off of sorts. As Pratchett said, this isn’t OL3, this is its own thing. Which means if this sells decently maybe that’s fuel for OL3.

Wait really? Hopefully not like the BS guide that had codes in it. For anyone who didn’t see it/use it they would describe half a boss fight or something and mid sentence cut it off and say “read the rest at our site! just enter this code” and it was horrible.

I think I noticed this the other day but aren't PS4 controllers usually $60? Or are you saying on that page they're normally $50? If they're normally $60 that is a pretty nice deal overall. Probably will be a long time before we see $30 controller sales like PS3 controllers sadly.

They made the robotech games? I played those so much. They were amazing.

Would it be possible to just go to that mine shaft and retry the whole scene? Night vision goggles, molotov, etc.

Actually it’s weird. Sometimes, if I have Chrome and Dota2 up at once, I have to do something similar. I just ALT+TAB and reselect Dota and my frame rate triples. I have no earthly idea why, maybe ALT+TAB will work for you? It’s nothing about my specs, they’re great for Dota2 and Chrome lol.

No problem, it’s one of the first things I learned when I got a 3DS because people said it made the games as crisp and sharp as they were on DS. Not stretched out to fill the screen. And for the XL’s it’s definitely a great improvement.
