Watch what score you’re getting. Places like Credit Karma use a Fako score. (Vantage 3.0) It can be as much as 100 points higher than your actual Fico number.

This seems like a way to tailor scores for the purpose of buying cars. Plus it’s going to add to the confusing mess that credit ratings already are thanks to yet another scoring system.

True! I went the used route after my HF mchine died. I know it's a tool that's hard to justify too. It's one of those things that's extermely nice to have when you need it. 

A basic Hobart 130 runs 110v. Nothing wrong with a stick welder either though.
