I guess Chicagoland speed limits really depend on the time of day. When I lived in Broadview I had to commute to Elgin daily for a contract job I was doing. Mornings were fine at 60-75 mph. Coming home though? Yikes. 90 wasn’t too bad but 290 and 294? You'd be lucky to Max out at 25.

I think everyone in this thread is afflicted with big cityitis. Not everyone lives in a cluster like NY, Chicago or LA.
