Weird. Growing up in the Chicago area the only time you hear that is if someone is referring to the memorial name of the road.

We got fed a lot of Grant Cardone and one other guy that owned a Toyota dealership in Florida. I couldn’t understand why they spent all that money. People that walked on to a Toyota lot in the late 90s were all there to buy. The cars were literally already sold. It was just a matter of agreement on price and trade in.

Salesmen turned Motivational Speaker are typically high strung egomaniacs. The Toyota store I worked oat would send us to see them any time they came to town. Go to YouTube and check it out. There are tons of them.

Whenever I see comment’s about “Bro truck” and “compensating” I tend to think the person is single minded and insecure. Basically someone who is incapable of accepting that people just like different things.

I don’t think it’s necessarily a Minnesota thing. I married into a Swedish family in the Chicago area and there were two things that were a constant at Christmas time.
