Doing so strengthen’s ISIS position in Syria, sadly. This is something the whole world needs to come together and fix. There are too many major players invested into Syria to do this, though. Worse yet, the two largest threats to the US are backing Assad right now.

Yeah, she’s a typical politician but I somehow doubt she would have made THIS kind of strike, TODAY, if she were in power. She knows how to play the game. Trump does not.

But Trump and crew have already cast the people of Syria as “too dangerous” to enter this country (see: the travel bans.) So he’s now retaliating for the deaths of people he views as a threat to America? He’s now sad that kids are dead but last week he wasn’t sad about all the other children who have been killed over…

As tough as it is to swallow, not every bad thing that happens in the world has to, or should, be “fixed” by America. This will do nothing but cause more death.

Also conflicted on this...BUT...reporters are saying the strike was aimed at the airbase from which the chemical attack was launched. If true, diminishing the Asad regime’s ability to gas its citizens is better than not diminishing their ability to do so.

The 15th of March was the Syrian Civil War’s sixth birthday and the quickest way to end the war (without putting any thought into what comes after it’s over) would be to topple the Assad government. I am generally anti-war, but also anti children being gassed. Really not sure how to feel about this. Is it an attempt to make sure a bad leader know we are serious or just trying to make like admin is not in Russia back pocket?
