He wouldn’t be rich.

Back in the day bank robber Willy Sutton said “Thats where the money is” when asked why he robbed banks....

How many dinners for the poor could that necklace could have paid for?
How many homeless could have slept in shelters at just half the cost of that car?
How many times has he told people to hold their money for Sunday’s collection, and he trades in a few rings instead?
If he were just a rich man, I’d leave it be. But a

It’s really saying that those who put money above God aren't going to heaven. Not that you can't be wealthy, just make sure that your prioritizing the Lord over your money.

This fool is shady as hell.

He served time for grand larceny, just saying.................................

He and Creflo Dolla must be Facebook friends.

Feature, not bug.

A pastor with $1 mil of jewlery on him? He must not really understand the Bible that well.

“It’s my prerogative to take as much money from my congregation as they’re willing to give and lavishly spend it on myself even as my community struggles to supply their families adequate housing and food. If they want money, they should go start their own churches.”

Matthew 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Hold up. You keep saying “unarmed” like that means something. Dude comes behind the counter, to assault a man half his age, over something silly. This isn’t a duel at dawn with swords, Keith.

But who would notice?

I am not. We are supposed to be supporting the 35 year old Black Man who went behind a shop counter and physically interacted with a 61 year old.

I am IT!

I guess I shouldn’t be surprised, but I saw the headline and immediately thought “Damn, I HAVE to know how they’re gonna rationalize that statement.” And then..Nothing! It’s like a blowjob where you’re not allowed to finish.

I’m also a bit confused on the point of the article itself - where is the connection between Eric Adams saying “This man shouldn’t be charged with anything, much less murder” and a hypothetical situation where the NYPD kills someone? How are the situations even remotely comparable?

That’s kind of how I was reading it.

“physically confronted” is an awfully kind way to say “assaulted and battered.”

“Jose Alba killed Austin Simon at the Blue Moon corner grocery in Harlem after Simon, 35, went behind the counter and physically confronted Alba, 61, over an argument that started with Simon’s girlfriend. When it was over, Simon, who was unarmed, was bleeding to death on the floor.”
