I understand it, though I find it really sad: their concept of worth is “celebrity.” It doesn’t matter what you actually do as a famous person as long as people are talking about you. Which is just...I want to like them but yikes :/

My thing is, what does this dress sound like? Swishy-sounding athletic fabrics are annoying, but this looks like it would do some sort of horrible squeak/squish-when-sweaty thing. I cannot stop thinking about and feeling sorry for her armpits :/

Its disappointing to realize how much bullshit i’ve internalized about all kinds of folks (including my fellow black/female/queers), but we all grew up and live in this culture, so of course it happens. Acknowledging the fucked-upness/calling yourself on it is really the only way to fix…
