Wrt recommending a Japanese SUV for a tall person - don’t. They don’t make seats for larger people to sit comfortably in, and ownership will be an excruciatingly painful experience in terms of comfort and back pain. For normally proportioned 5-0 to 5-7 Japanese people, Japanese SUVs are very comfortable.
