I'm at work. My coworkers (all Irish except for me) keep asking if I'm okay. It's an excellent question.

You mean the time he poisoned the atmosphere of an entire planet? Or the time he participated in an assassination? I was trying to explain DS9 to my boyfriend, who's watching Trek for the first time, and I explained that Sisko is kind of chaotic/good, he always does what he thinks will have the best consequences long

Sisko is definitely the most interesting captain. I'd also argue for Sisko as one of the most morally complex characters in television Sci-fi, although I can rarely get anyone to agree with me.

I think kids are just like that. I had nightmares after watching the Tim Burton short Frankenweenie as a kid. I completely freaked out when water comes out of the reanimated dog's neck. No idea why.

My grandparents have almost this exact rug, but their's is in a stylish 70s orange and blue. You could never lose a phone on that thing.

Other than that really odd sequel with the twins going back to Noah's ark, I wouldn't have thought of any of these books as overly religious. I certainly didn't notice it as a kid until that one.

Or Michael Collins, although that mainly covers the time after the Easter Rising. It has Alan Rickman in it, and Liam Neeson

I wear headphones everywhere, so catcalling is lost on me, but recently I caught a guy staring at my boobs, and when he realised I was glaring at him, he gave a big smile and nodded approvingly, which, what the fuck? At least have the decency to be ashamed you got caught.

I really liked the show, but for the problem solving/building things. I like shows where people are doing something they're good at, without much unnecessary drama. Time Team and the Great British Bake Off are also good. I accept that some people will find my taste in television odd.

I liked it. It wasn't the greatest movie, but it was excellent Superman, which is more than you can say for Synder's verison.

I like rifftrax generally but the Bridget & Mary Jo shorts are some the best stuff they have. The Christmas special, when they take time to talk about christmas presents, is utterly delightful.

Crow got bored living in the apartment with Mike and launched them all into space? I mean, he is the one who redecorated the SOL rather than hang out at the end of the universe.

Hey the Daily Mail serves an important purpose. If someone says they read the Daily Mail, I know I don't have to take their opinions seriously.

Hey, I liked parts of Lost Skeleton of Cavaera.

Only if one of those words is badly misspelled.

Yeah, I'd never heard of him until he was picked for Tom Servo, but based purely on this interview, I think he's the kind of person who should be Tom Servo.

I mean, they're just going to go to waste otherwise, so. .

Glad I'm apparently not the only one who misread that headline the first time.

The one thing I remember about the cast is that the young cop is the guy from Deathstalker and the Warriors from Hell, which is one of my favorite MST3K episodes.

You can't really hate something until you've watched it in HD, and seen all the included special features.
